The risk hiding in your project files
Construction and other teams hand over terabytes of geospatial data (drone captures, scanner point clouds, CAD files, and so on) to software they didn’t build and often can’t inspect. That’s a real risk when the data includes site layouts and infrastructure details. Teams need to know exactly where their data lives, who can touch it, and what happens if a vendor gets acquired or goes down. Most photogrammetry platforms don’t make that easy to answer.

Our own hardware, in the EU
AVAG doesn’t rent space on a shared public cloud. The platform runs on hardware we own, hosted in the EU, with the company headquartered in the Czech Republic.
Microservices architecture
The platform is built on containers. That isolation limits what a single failure or breach can touch, and it lets us patch and update one piece without taking the whole system down.
Permission-based access, by default
Every project has role-based sharing built in. Site managers, surveyors, and clients see exactly what they’re supposed to see, nothing more, and you control who gets invited in.
On-premise for teams that need it
For customers with strict data residency or IT policy requirements, we offer an on-premise deployment. Your infrastructure, our platform.

We don’t ask enterprise teams to take our word for it. STRABAG ran a security review of AVAG last year. BMW’s team did their own research into the platform. Vinci Construction has also put AVAG through its process. These are organizations with their own security and procurement standards, and they came to the table with real questions before rolling AVAG out.

Where is my data physically stored?
On AVAG’s own hardware in EU data centers. We don't use third-party public cloud storage for your project data.
Can AVAG run entirely on our own infrastructure?
Yes. On-premise deployment is available for customers with that requirement, currently offered to VIP customers.
Who can access our projects?
Only people you invite. Every project uses permission-based sharing, so you decide who sees what, down to the individual.
Has AVAG been reviewed by enterprise security teams?
Yes. STRABAG conducted a security review in the past year, and teams at BMW and Vinci Construction have evaluated the platform as part of their own vendor research.
Does hosting in the EU affect our GDPR obligations?
Because AVAG is an EU company with EU-hosted infrastructure, your data stays inside the EU by default, which simplifies GDPR compliance for EU-based teams.
What happens to our data if we stop using AVAG?
Automated processing is fully automatic, free, and fast (no GCPs). Expert processing includes professional intervention, GCPs, accuracy checks, and guaranteed delivery.
